Since the release of our first official publication we have been in shock. It was surreal for Beltane to hit #1 best seller on Amazon. Surreal and terrifying. Because of that, we had to address some tough questions.

Where do we go from here? Did we blow our proverbial load? Should we call it quits now? Does the color blue look the same to everyone? What is life anyway?

We have chosen not to think about those questions and just move forward. We have too much stuff to do in our regular lives as well as at Vine and Bone HQ. But what does moving forward look like? Honestly, it looks a lot like putting down our celebratory beverages and keep on keeping on. No changes, no problems.

We are excited for the next projects and only hope that the momentum we have will transfer, at least a little bit, to those projects. If not, that’s okay. We’ll look back fondly on the first big win and know that more will come.

Thank you, dear reader, for checking in with us. We are humbled by your presence. Our time is limited and every breath is one step closer to the ultimate outcome. Memento mori.

It is time to officially do something here. I mean, I guess. Gah!

It is nice to finally announce our first publication. Working together with the AuthorTube community, and a few other talented authors, we are proud to announce Beltane: an Anthology.

Beltane is a collection of short stories, and other works, themed after Beltane (aka. May Day). Think flowers, May Poles, bonfires, and festivities celebrating the return of the northern hemisphere summer. It’s a joyous time filled with hope and happiness. However, as with all things, there is a darker side. Beyond the tree line, where day becomes twilight and vision blurs, unseen things creep in the liminal space of shadow, watching and waiting.

We hope you’ll pick one, or two, up and enjoy. Let us know which one was your favorite.
